What is "PEMF" Therapy?

PEMF stands for “Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Frequency”. PEMF therapy is a non-invasive, painless treatment for various injuries, bone related conditions and pains. PEMF has been used for decades in Europe and heavily researched with more than 5,000 studies showing its effectiveness and safety. It has repeatedly shown BETTER tissue repair in FAR LESS time, with NO adverse reactions.

How does PEMF Therapy work?

PEMF therapy sends electromagentic waves painlessly throughout your body to re-energizes damaged cells by inducing electrical changes within the cell that restore it to its normal healthy state. Because of this, cellular metabolism is boosted, blood cells are regenerated, circulation is improved and oxygen carrying capacity is increased.

Ultimately, the immune system becomes healthier, the nervous system relaxes, bones and joints become stronger and vital organs such as the liver, kidneys and colon are able to rid themselves of impurities thus detoxifying the body.

Health Benefits of PEMF Therapy:
  • Repairs damaged and diseased tissue
  • Repairs torn tendons and fractured bones
  • Increases overall physical energy
  • Heals injuries faster
  • Improves circulation
  • Reduces pain, swelling, inflammation and irritation
  • Stimulates endorphins, serotonin, and the body’s natural healing process
  • Returns the energy back into the cells
  • Improves sleep
  • Increases the cellular level of oxygen absorption up to 200%
  • Influences cell behavior by inducing electrical changes around and within the cell
  • Improves calcium transport increasing absorption of calcium in bones and cartilage in joints
  • Increases bone density and muscle mass
  • Causes the body to start a detoxification process

What is a PEMF Therapy session like?

For a session, you will lie on the PEMF mat and, depending on your condition, may have a second pad resting over a certain area. The settings will be per-programmed by the doctor and the session will start. Sessions typically last between 10-30 minutes.  An audible “beep” will indicate when the session is over. Typically, you won’t feel anything; however, some people report feeling a warming sensation and a general sense of relaxation.
